The purification of the compressed air is done by means of the use in the dryer of the adsorbent that absorbs the moisture from the compressed air system. In adsorption dryers of OAD type the adsorbent is made of active aluminum oxide which is placed in columns. Adsorption dryers are used when there are high requirements for the purification of the compressed air and which cannot be achieved using refrigeration dryers with the dew point +3°C).
Dew point values ​​for adsorption dryers may be -20°C, -40°C or even -70°C. These dryers operate completely automatically.
Due to the high sensitivity of the sorbent for oil pollution we recommend to use line filters before the adsorption dryer. Filters are also installed after the dryer to avoid the possible ingress of sorbent particles into the compressed air piping in the form of the dust.
Dew points: HED -20°C, OAD -40°C, MSD -70°C.
Maximum pressure: 1.6 MPa.
